What is Keywords Density?

Keywords Density means the frequency of occurrence of different keywords in a web page. In simple words it is the number of times any keyword is repeated within a web page. It is important because search engines use this information to categorize a site's theme, and to determine which keywords the site is relevant to.

The perfect keyword density will help achieve higher search engine positions. It needs to be balanced correctly. If it is too low then you will not get the desired benefit, and if it becomes too high then your page might get flagged for keyword spamming.
